WEB Team USA Basketball continued its impressive run of form in its third pre-Olympics showcase game, dismantling Nikola Jokić and Serbia 105-79 on Wednesday afternoon.
Jokić, the reigning NBA MVP, did not play the fourth quarter, while Serbia's other major NBA player, Bogdan Bogdanović, was also absent from the match.
Despite the absences, Serbia proved to be a formidable opponent, but Team USA's superior depth and talent ultimately proved too much to overcome.
Stephen Curry led the way for the United States, finishing with a game-high 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-9 from three-point range. Jayson Tatum added 19 points, while Kevin Durant chipped in with 18.
The victory marks Team USA's third straight in its pre-Olympics schedule, and it bodes well for their chances of medaling at the upcoming Games in Paris.
