Cars with Wings

While car manufacturers were busy mounting headlights to wings, Peugeot went down a different avenue and created a car with wings that could actually fly. The Peugeot-Mototcycle was a combination of a car and a motorcycle, with two wheels in the front and one in the back. The wings were made of a lightweight alloy and were attached to the sides of the car. When the car reached a certain speed, the wings would deploy and the car would take off. The Peugeot-Mototcycle was a success, and it was used by the French military during World War I.
