Arsenal u19s suffer final UEFA Youth League defeat against PSV
Young Gunners well beaten in Netherlands
Arsenal Under-19s ended their UEFA Youth League campaign with a 4-1 defeat against PSV Eindhoven Under-19s on Wednesday afternoon.
The Gunners, who had already been eliminated from the competition, travelled to the Netherlands for their final group stage match and were comfortably beaten by the Dutch side.
PSV took the lead in the 27th minute through Jarrad Branthwaite, and they doubled their advantage just six minutes later when Johan Bakayoko found the net.
Arsenal pulled a goal back through Kido Taylor-Hart in the 57th minute, but PSV restored their two-goal lead just three minutes later through Johan Bakayoko.
And the Dutch side made sure of the victory in the 79th minute when Jesper Schouten made it 4-1.
The defeat means that Arsenal finish bottom of Group B with just one point from their six matches.
